B-2 "Spirit" (left) and B-21 "Raider" (Right)
USAF introduced The B-21 Raider heavy bomber to the media. And that weapon system is still full of secrets.
The B-21 Raider uses a new type of powerful and effective stealth technology. And the details of those systems are of course secretive. It should also operate with new hypersonic and stealth-based weapon systems.
There could be micro-size scratches on the surface of that bomber. But that is only speculation. The stealth system of the B-21 bomber is a hybrid system or a combination of AI-controlled systems that should help its survivability.
If we think of this kind of system we must realize that things. Those people told about them are not as important as things that are not published. The avionics and electronics of that aircraft must be something that makes it immune to GPS jammers.
Pegasus (Pegsat) under NB-52 NASA. Similar rockets can use in ASAT (Anti-Satellite) role.
The network operating systems allow B-21 bombers can be integrated with other actors on the battlefield. And that makes it far more effective and advanced than B-2. The B-21 "Raider" is open architecture solution. That makes it possible to customize that bomber for every mission.
If there are separated core plates. That support team can change very fast. The depth and distance of those suspected nano-scratches can adjust very fast. That makes hacking that stealth capacity very difficult.
The fact is that there can be things that are making B-21 easy to customize for every mission. The need to use the same aircraft with multiple missions is, of course, causing a question about the air-to-air capacity of that new stealth bomber. Heavy bombers can carry ASAT or at least low-Earth trajectory ASAT missiles.
But also there is the possibility that the B-21 can assist, cooperate and jam drone swarms. Those bombers can drop small quadcopters to search targets from the ground. Or they can even terminate other aircraft. And there could be the option for laser systems and other DEW (Directed Energy Weapons).
